Maybe look at getting a bow thruster for your new pride and joy. Make sure the voltage of it is compatible (12V) with the rest of the boat. When I was studying MSE, Marine Systems Engineering back in the late 90's we bought a bow thruster from Canada for one of our 16m launches but it was 24V. The boss decided to convert the whole boat to 24V. Major hassle. **Just to add... complete irony, at approx the 14:40 mark you sailed past a boat called Boudica. That was the name of my bosses personal 16m ML.

Just do not make mistake when going through a tunnel. Went through Harcastle tunnel and thought I could see the end so was ploughing on and all of a sudden the light I was going for changed and I then realised I was chasing another boat. He was not happy when I popped out of the tunnel his boat had overheated trying to stay ahead of me. Oops

No wonder boats keep colliding with you - If You use THAT LIGHT!! .... Why not buy a cheap Led Light for the front? ... Probably LESS than a Fiver ... Batteries last for HOURS!! ... You're a bampot 😂😂

Hi May, the thought of me singing to control my anxiety probably causes me anxiety, not the best singer in town! However, a technique I used to adopt when business pressures were high, was to compare the current situation to past events that were tougher and it eased the Situation And having lived & worked in the Central African copper belt region for three years, I had plenty of experiences to draw on 😊

When driving in your mooring stakes, angle away from boat, much stronger, won't pull out, just like a tent peg.

Enjoying your travels. I'd love to take a trip on the canals, but would have to come across the big pond. Saw you pulling on the tree to tie off. Research a "Truckers Hitch" . Using this knot gives you great advantage when pulling items tight. Like a pulley. And the knot comes apart easily.

Studio light twins! I find the remote really useful and the warm setting is quite lovely. I probably use it for 90% of my living room lighting needs instead of the main/big light. Anyway, singing is the only activity which uses 100% of the lung - you'd think it would be something like swimming but no! So if you're using your lungs properly when singing, you're breathing properly and we all know how good breath work is for everyone!

Hi May, just a thought, when you were banging in your "ground nail," before the tunnel , I noticed the top was pointing towards the boat. This makes it easier for boat movements to pull it out. If you hammer it in so the top is pointing away from the boat, it's a lot harder for boat movements to pull it out. Oh yes, if the ground is soft, once the first ground nail is in, put another one thru the "eye" of the first to make an X shape. This is a much stronger ground anchor !
